This role is for a Senior Financial Analyst on the Information Technology FP&A team based at the Santa Clara campus. The position requires a high level of analytical proficiency, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication. The team provides financial and business analysis to enable effective decision-making and improve financial performance, with a focus on leveraging AI and automation to build reliable financial models and scalable reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead FP&A for the Enterprise Software and Applications portfolio, managing forecasts, budgets, and investment analysis.
  • Own monthly and quarterly close activities, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Analyze key business metrics and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Use AI and advanced analytics tools (e.g., Claude, Databricks, Alteryx) to create reliable financial models and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Transition manual reporting into automated, scalable real-time dashboards using Power BI and SQL.
  • Partner closely with IT and business leaders on investment planning and systematically track the financial impact of key technology initiatives.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate with an MBA from an accredited university and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, or a relevant area.
  • Proven financial modeling abilities and high-level analytical proficiency.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and experience working with large datasets.
  • Proven ability to leverage Advanced Excel, Python, and SQL to transform manual data processes into automated workflows; experience using Power BI to deliver real-time, actionable insights.
  • Experience or comfort using AI and advanced analytics tools (examples called out: Claude, Databricks, Alteryx).
  • Ability to balance detailed, hands-on work with big-picture strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships and collaborate at all levels of an organization.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary ranges (dependent on level and location):
    • Level 3: 100,000 USD - 161,000 USD
    • Level 4: 124,000 USD - 195,500 USD
