Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company that builds Grafana — a visualization platform used by millions to monitor systems and data. The AWS Data Sources squad builds and maintains open-source data source plugins (in partnership with AWS) so Grafana users can query data directly from AWS and visualize it within Grafana.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of open-source data source plugins for Grafana, focused on AWS data sources.
- Enhance the querying experience within a Grafana data source.
- Investigate and resolve configuration issues affecting data sources.
- Support reliability and operations of data sources in Grafana Cloud, including on-call rotations.
- Collaborate across the Data Sources team and partner with other squads within the Grafana division to design and deliver solutions.
- Work in a remote-first environment and communicate effectively with distributed teams.
Requirements
- Professional experience as a Full-stack Engineer with strong frontend focus.
- Expertise in React and TypeScript for building user-facing software.
- Experience with microservices architecture; familiarity with Go (Golang) is a plus.
- Familiarity with being on-call and performing operations/SRE tasks.
- Experience or familiarity with AWS products such as CloudWatch, OpenSearch, Redshift, Athena, Aurora, and Amazon Prometheus.
- Experience with configuration tools and infrastructure as code: Jsonnet and Terraform.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus, or similar platforms).
- Comfort contributing to and working with open-source projects.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills suitable for a remote-first company.

- Base compensation range in Spain: EUR 80,571 - EUR 96,685 (country-specific ranges; actual compensation may vary by level, experience, and skillset).
