Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company powering observability for millions of users and thousands of organizations worldwide. The Data Sources group builds and maintains the plugins that connect Grafana to many data sources. The AWS Data Sources squad focuses on delivering high-quality, open-source data source plugins built in partnership with AWS to enable users to query and visualize AWS data in Grafana.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain open-source Grafana data source plugins (AWS-focused).
- Enhance the querying experience within a Grafana data source and investigate/resolution of configuration issues.
- Support reliability and operations of data sources in Grafana Cloud, including on-call rotations.
- Collaborate across the Data Sources team and with other squads across the Grafana division to drive engineering solutions.
- Work in a remote-first environment; communicate effectively with distributed teams.
Requirements / What makes you a great fit
- Professional experience as a Full-stack Engineer with expertise in React and TypeScript.
- Experience with microservices; familiarity with Go (Golang) is a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS products such as CloudWatch, OpenSearch, Redshift, Athena, Aurora, and Amazon Prometheus.
- Experience with configuration technologies such as Jsonnet and Terraform.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools, e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, and other observability platforms.
- Comfortable being on-call and performing operations / SRE tasks.
- Passion for building user-facing open-source software and working on complex technical solutions.
- Curious, motivated to grow, collaborative, and able to work effectively in a remote-first company.
Compensation & Benefits
- Spain base compensation range: EUR 80,571 - EUR 96,685 (actual compensation may vary by level, experience, and skillset).
- All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
- 100% remote company with in-person onboarding.
