The Community You Will Join

Community Support Platform (CSP) is responsible for the world-class technology, architecture, and solutions that power Airbnb's global community support operations. The products and solutions built support customers, front line agents, and operations teams, enabling Airbnb's core business. Within CSP, the Agent Routing and Case team drives improvements in issue routing, data tracking, team coordination, and customer support experience.

The Difference You Will Make

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will join a team of talented software engineers to build solutions improving Airbnb agent productivity. You will shape the technical vision and deliver scalable, flexible, and efficient solutions. Your unique skills and technical expertise will solve key challenges for Airbnb.

A Typical Day

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to implement product and business strategies.
  • Lead and contribute to the full development cycle: design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
  • Review code and design documents, provide feedback on product specifications and mocks.
  • Provide critical input for team roadmap and technical direction.

Your Expertise

  • 6+ years in full stack software development.
  • Proficient in at least one major programming language (Java, Kotlin, Scala, Ruby on Rails, Python preferred).
  • Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React, Preact, Angular, Next.js, Vue, or Meteor.
  • Passion for delivering products end-to-end from ideation to experimental A/B testing.
  • Understanding of architectural patterns for large-scale web apps, including APIs, high volume data pipelines, and algorithms.
  • Strong collaboration with design and product partners, balancing tradeoffs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Location

This position is US - Remote Eligible. Candidates must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity. Occasional office or offsite attendance may be required.

Compensation

Base salary range: $180,000 to $220,000 USD. Role may be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and travel credits.
