Details

This role is an opportunity to join a world-class team working on the future of GPU technology. You will collaborate with multiple engineering groups to define and execute verification plans, improve simulation and emulation platforms, and participate in hands-on programming to develop tests, resolve model bugs, and build regression/reporting scripts. The position emphasizes strong debugging skills, architecture validation experience, and proficiency in systems-level modeling and software tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Define, build, and drive the verification test plan for specific GPU products to ensure outstanding performance.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, ASIC, DV, Emulation, and Infrastructure teams to achieve seamless integration and meet project timelines.
  • Ensure reliable execution of the test plan, triage failures, and implement fixes to drive bugs to closure.
  • Manage project timelines and align teams for smooth progression and flawless execution.
  • Monitor and anticipate resource requirements throughout the verification process.
  • Continuously improve planning and process flow by defining and tracking important metrics.
  • Research and apply AI tools to streamline and optimize workflows.
  • Guide improvements to the simulation platform and expand resources to support future GPU architectures.
  • Participate in hands-on programming to improve or develop tests, resolve bugs in models, and build scripts for regressions and report generation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience (or MS with 8+ years, or PhD with 5+ years).
  • Proven experience in architecture validation or full-chip verification environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a track record of driving issues to closure.
  • Proficient programming skills in C++, C, and scripting languages such as Python or Perl. Go proficiency is a plus.
  • Solid background in computer architecture with experience in modeling (SystemC & TLM preferred).
  • Good understanding of build systems (CMake, make), toolchains (GCC, MSVC), and libraries (STL, Boost), as well as familiarity with CI systems (Docker, Jenkins).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully in a distributed team environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary ranges by level:
    • Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD
    • Level 5: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD
  • You will also be eligible for equity and company benefits (see NVIDIA benefits page).
