Senior iOS Engineer - Advertiser Growth

This role is on the Advertiser Growth team and focuses on building a seamless, powerful experience for Small to Medium Business (SMB) advertisers to launch and manage campaigns on Reddit's platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead feature development for iOS: own building new iOS features from the ground up, including ad creation flows, campaign management, and advertiser onboarding.
• Drive growth: work on high-impact projects that contribute to multiplying monthly active advertisers; develop and execute A/B tests to optimize user experience and business metrics.
• Collaborate broadly: partner with product managers, designers, data scientists, marketing, and sales teams; communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Make technical decisions: balance long-term architectural health with rapid iteration; decide when to build new systems versus leveraging existing ones.
• Improve the codebase: mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and maintain high standards for code quality, architecture, and performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of Swift and the iOS SDK.
• Proven track record of building and shipping consumer-facing iOS applications at scale.
• Strong product sense and deep empathy for users; excited about solving complex business problems with elegant technical solutions.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with a bias for action and rapid development cycles.
• Experience with A/B testing frameworks and growth engineering is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills; able to articulate technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Pay and Equity

• Base pay range (US): $190,800 - $267,100 USD per year.
• Role may be eligible for equity in the form of restricted stock units and, depending on the position, may also be eligible for commission.
