As a senior IT risk officer, you will help the IT organisation stay in control of both internal and external risks. You will create a holistic overview of the IT risk posture and identify the most critical risks that require mitigation and prioritization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the total overview of IT Risks, Audit findings, effectiveness of IT controls, and action plans.
  • Manage and present IT Control status in the Operational Risk Committee.
  • Maintain a holistic overview of IT risk topics and processes; challenge ITIL processes and IT Security as needed.
  • Support IT auditors during audits by providing the right information, context, and evidence.
  • Collect information for national and international regulators.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships within Risk, IT, Security, and Audit departments.
  • Ensure internal controls monitoring is executed timely and accurately.
  • Coach colleagues to maximize their potential.
  • Initiate improvements in processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in IT risk or IT security, preferably in financial services.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills.
  • IT audit experience is preferred.
  • Fluent in English and passable understanding of Dutch.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • Advanced knowledge of IT standards and control frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Drive to improve processes and ways of working.

Benefits

  • Gross monthly salary between €5,847 and €8,353 based on a 36-hour workweek, including vacation pay and benefit budget; 40-hour workweek possible.
  • Salary aligned with Hay grade 10 or 11 depending on experience and competence.
  • Benefit budget of 11% of salary with payout option for unused budget.
