The Supply Stays Team ensures that Airbnb is locally relevant and serves the needs of our global hosts and guests, helping regions more efficiently plan and execute growth strategies across Supply Stays in a way that will resonate with our communities.

Role overview

As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will manage partner relationships with strategic API Connectivity & Enterprise partners. You will be responsible for recruitment, enablement and optimization of strategic partnerships, act as a trusted advisor, and drive growth and performance for both Airbnb and partners. This role is a fixed-term 12-month contract and requires candidates to be based in Barcelona; it is not eligible for relocation support.

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of Airbnb’s key partners and act as the primary representative for these partners.
  • Execute a global win-win strategy for your portfolio that drives mutual value and positions Airbnb as a top strategic partner across distribution channels.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with executives and decision makers/key influencers within API & Enterprise customers.
  • Ensure partnerships meet industry standards and that commercial agreements and SLAs are upheld.
  • Analyze data and use data-driven recommendations to identify and act on strategic growth opportunities.
  • Work with quarterly goals and measure success against performance KPIs, feature adoption, and supply acquisition growth.
  • Support partners through deep understanding of API and technical integrations.
  • Educate clients on product roadmap and significant product changes to accelerate feature adoption.
  • Represent Airbnb at external meetings and industry events.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in Strategic Partnership, Key Account Management and/or Connectivity roles at a global technology or tech hospitality company.
  • Experience with API integrations is strongly preferred.
  • World-class account management experience with a strong track record of growing a book of business/geographic area and building enduring client relationships.
  • Experience in the hospitality technology space and knowledge of OTA specifications.
  • Experience analyzing, structuring, and negotiating complex deals across multiple business units.
  • Extremely data-driven decision making and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, tech, legal, marketing, sales operations, and enablement teams.
  • Ability to manage complex projects, multi-task, and maintain excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders internally and externally.
  • Passion for Airbnb, travel, and the sharing economy.
  • Fluent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish; French is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a product manager or working closely with product teams is a plus.
  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time.

Compensation

Spain Annual Pay Range: €65,000—€80,000 EUR

This role may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits. The actual base pay is dependent on factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
