As a Senior System Architect in the Container Department, you will be the technical authority shaping our containerized platform landscape. Do you like to design scalable, secure, and resilient architectures that enable engineering teams to build and run modern cloud-native applications efficiently? Responsibilities
- Define and own the target architecture for container platforms (e.g. Kubernetes-based environments)
- Design end‑to‑end system architectures covering compute, networking, storage, observability, and security
- Translate business and technical requirements into architectural standards and reference designs
- Act as a trusted advisor to product teams, engineers, and stakeholders on container and cloud-native decisions
- Drive architectural governance, ensuring solutions align with enterprise standards and best practices
- Evaluate, select, and introduce new technologies and patterns within the container ecosystem
- Collaborate closely with DevOps, SRE, security, and development teams to ensure successful implementation
- Mentor engineers and architects, raising the overall architectural maturity of the department
- Identify risks and bottlenecks early and design mitigation strategies

Requirements
- 5+ years (listed under "We ask")
- Deep, hands-on experience with Kubernetes (the posting states: "You live and breath kubernetes")
- Strong cloud experience (explicit mention of Azure)
- Experience designing architectures covering compute, networking, storage, observability, and security
- Comfortable collaborating with DevOps, SRE, security and development teams
- Passion for the field of expertise and strong collaborative skills
- Mentoring and advising experience (mentoring engineers and architects is part of the role)

- Gross monthly salary: € 5.847 - € 8.353 pm (based on a 36‑hour work week), including holiday allowance and a flexible benefit budget
