Do you want to make a decisive technical impact on the Unified Communication & Collaboration (UC&C) Area and help shape the future of the ABN AMRO Digital Workplace? We are looking for a senior engineer who combines deep Microsoft 365 expertise with technical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Act as a key technical authority within the UC&C Area and member of Area leadership (Area Sync).
- Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap for UC&C within Digital Workplace.
- Remain deeply involved in engineering within the M365 DevOps teams, set technical standards and guide complex implementations.
- Take end-to-end ownership of key initiatives and guide teams through strategic and technological transformations to ensure scalable, future-proof outcomes.
- Embed security, data protection and governance by design; provide leadership on responsible adoption of AI and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with engineers, Product Owners, Domain Architects and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Coach engineers, raise engineering maturity across the area and continuously improve reliability, automation, security and user experience.
Working environment
- Digital Workplace is part of ABN AMRO Platform & Technology. The UC&C Area consists of four autonomous DevOps teams with Product Owners and platform engineers (on- and offshore).
- Teams focus on M365, Collaboration and Unified Communications functionality, supporting over 30,000 colleagues globally.

Requirements
- 10+ years of experience and proven technical leadership (senior level).
- Deep hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft 365 platform, end-user services and large-scale transitions such as cloud-managed workplace solutions.
- Experience in UC&C or Digital Workplace environments and leading complex technical initiatives end-to-end.
- Solid experience with Microsoft 365 security, compliance and data governance in enterprise environments.
- Affinity with AI and emerging technologies and ability to assess opportunities, risks and impact within the Digital Workplace.
- Solid understanding of Agile, DevOps and automation practices, and experience coordinating complex implementations and data migrations.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
Benefits
- Gross monthly salary: €6.793 - €9.704 based on a 36-hour work week (position placed in Scale 12 or 11 depending on experience).
