Base is built on Optimism’s open-source OP Stack. We’re joining as the second Core Dev team working on the OP Stack to ensure it’s a public good available to everyone; and contributing a portion of sequencer revenue to funding public goods.

Responsibilities

• Execute Infrastructure and Consumer partnerships / alliances across Base Chain, Base App, Base Pay, Base Build and Spindl.
• Develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies that position Base as the preferred app, network and platform for creators, brands, enterprises, developers and users.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Manage a pod of 2–3 teammates.
• Execute complex transactions and large partnership deals; coordinate across internal teams to drive outcomes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in technology, finance (e.g., Corporate Development, investing) or consulting with a proven track record of deal execution (e.g., M&A, investments, large partnerships).
• Demonstrated onchain experience and a strong passion for onchain apps / platforms; a robust onchain resume is expected.
• Results-driven mindset with humility and self-awareness.
• Experience executing complex transactions and managing multiple projects across internal and external stakeholders through clear communication, strong analytical skills (qualitative and quantitative), organization and a constant focus on operational excellence.
