The Chief Technology Officer has established a team dedicated to disruptive digital innovations to transform Eneco into a data-driven, customer-centric organization.
You will lead teams working with ERP & Asset Lifecycle Management platforms β including software and data engineers β to deliver scalable, innovative enterprise solutions that support organizational goals and business processes. A critical part of your role is ensuring high-quality, well-governed data for cross-domain use and dependable financial reporting, while maintaining strong vendor partnerships and fostering a culture of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead teams working with ERP & Asset Lifecycle Management platforms (including software and data engineers) to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.
- Define team roadmaps together with Product Management, aligned with technical strategies, organizational goals, and vendor capabilities to ensure measurable impact.
- Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation, vendor performance and collaboration to meet business and technical needs.
- Recruit, mentor and support cross-functional team members, set clear expectations and foster professional growth.
- Drive cross-team alignment, enhance processes for efficiency and innovation, and ensure decisions align with strategic goals.
- Ensure that data produced or transformed by ERP & Asset Lifecycle Management platforms is accurate, timely and accessible for cross-domain use and financial reporting.
- Work to maximize utilization of the ERP system (primarily SAP) and minimize customisations.
Requirements
- Strong leadership with a track record of mentoring and team development; experience leading large teams (~30 people) and managing outsourced work (multi-million euro budgets).
- Extensive expertise in Financial ERP platforms and ERP strategy (SAP is the primary ERP in use).
- Proven vendor management experience, including contracts, performance oversight and partnerships.
- Ability to drive strategic alignment, foster collaboration and cultivate a high-performing, inclusive environment.
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
- Domain knowledge across Finance, Procurement and HR support functions, and in Asset Lifecycle Management (including proactive maintenance planning and Geo Information Systems for asset location, e.g., heat networks).
What we offer / Benefits
- Gross annual salary between β¬110,000 and β¬170,000, including FlexBudget and 8% holiday allowance; depending on role, bonus or collective profit sharing may apply.
