We have an opportunity for a Manager in our New Product Introduction (NPI) Master Scheduling Organization. The role requires leadership and deep expertise in capacity planning, supply planning, and build planning within a dynamic, fast-paced environment that supports rack-based data center products.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Master Scheduling Planners for all NVIDIA NPI products, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional development and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize NPI capacity and build planning processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Evolve planning processes to better support complex rack-based data center products.
- Develop a process for planning NPI builds, considering capacity analysis, material status, and build readiness metrics (test and assembly readiness).
- Oversee integration of advanced data analytics tools to improve team productivity and enhance decision-making across cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Operations.
- Establish KPIs for master scheduling and planning activities and review team performance regularly.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align long-term NPI demand forecasts and supply strategies with broader business objectives, providing insights based on engineering requirements and operational data.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure effective communication between design engineering, build management, industrial engineering, and manufacturing teams regarding factory capacity and production schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in operations, industrial engineering, supply chain, or business preferred.
- 12+ years overall experience, with recent experience in NPI planning, production planning/control, master scheduling, or supply chain manufacturing.
- 5+ years of proven leadership experience in planning or supply chain management.
- Expert knowledge of product lifecycles and NPI processes.
- Experience with capacity planning and forecasting tools and strong understanding of supply chain dynamics.
- Experience working with complex data center products is a plus.
- Extensive experience working in an OEM/CM environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage stakeholders at all levels including executive leadership.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analytics tools and advanced Excel.
Compensation and Benefits
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 232,000 USD - 368,000 USD. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
