Responsibilities

• People Development: Manage teams with experience in people management and supporting managers, provide mentorship and feedback technically and professionally, and develop growth and career progression plans.
• Team Development: Lead for efficiency, quality, and accountability; recruit top talent; balance contributing hands-on and delegating.
• Technical Leadership: Develop and communicate pragmatic strategies, ensure team execution, align cross-functional priorities, mature software engineering functions, and integrate into a broader Information Security strategy.
• Function Development: Establish and build multi-disciplinary teams focused on engineering and operational activities for a global company.
• Influence & Communication: Strong written and verbal communication; engage technical and non-technical audiences; influence prioritization and problem solving.
• Security Culture and Philosophy: Promote a helpful, business-aligned security culture minimizing friction and enabling secure achievement of business objectives.

Requirements

• 8+ years managing people, including at least 3 years supporting other managers.
• Experience with AWS services such as GuardDuty, Lambda, Kinesis, S3, SNS, SQS, EC2.
• Past software development experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration.
• Demonstrated ability to support, scale, and advance similar functions.
• Deep understanding of prevention, detection, response, and validation lifecycle approaches in Information Security.
• Experience spanning corporate and product infrastructure, third party tooling, and infrastructure.

Benefits

• Base pay range $244,000 to $307,000 USD.
• Potential eligibility for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
