The Autonomous Vehicles (AV) team is seeking a highly motivated, technical Product and Program Management manager to lead and grow a team defining and building NVIDIA's self-driving software. The role owns core components of NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle software (for example, perception, planning, fusion, or mapping) and combines technical product leadership with program management to identify the right problems, design and prioritize solutions, and drive delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a technical product and program management team coordinating projects and partnering with engineering tech leads to solve complex self-driving challenges.
  • Drive delivery and be accountable for technology portfolios in partnership with engineering counterparts.
  • Build processes and frameworks to amplify team performance, remove bottlenecks, address issues, and measure outcomes against ambitious timelines and goals.
  • Develop a deep technical understanding of the entire stack to proactively identify areas for improvement and investment; influence technical direction across teams.
  • Communicate technical product status and program execution to senior executives and OEM partners.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of recent Product or Program Management experience.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Proven hands-on leadership and people management skills with strong communication, influencing, and cross-functional team building across time zones.
  • Experience managing and growing technical product or program management teams in the autonomous vehicle or robotics domains.
  • Strong technical skills and experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or related projects involving heavily matrixed sophisticated systems.
  • Creative problem solving to handle ambiguity, reach consensus, and make decisions.
  • Execution focus with experience bringing new and innovative products and technologies into reality.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Ways to stand out

  • Proven track record of growing both technical product AND technical program management teams in the autonomous vehicles or robotics space.
  • Relevant domain knowledge/experience in autonomous driving, robotics, ML-based planning stacks, perception models, fusion, or mapping technology.
  • Experience in a fast-paced AI company or Autonomous Vehicle company.
  • Technical background such as experience as a software engineer, systems engineer, ML engineer, or similar.
  • Demonstrated continuous learning, motivation to solve hard problems, and strong product focus.

Compensation and benefits

  • Base salary range: 240,000 USD - 379,500 USD (determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions).
  • Eligible for equity and benefits as described on NVIDIA's benefits pages.
