Responsibilities

• Manual testing of Saily API, including some web platform testing;
• Defining processes for a test plan and several phases of a testing cycle;
• Proactively suggest product quality improvements by participating in feature planning and estimation with the development team;
• Analyze found bugs during tests and prepare recommendations for process improvements to avoid similar cases;
• Create detailed and well-structured test cases;
• Ensure that the product is at a high-quality level for deployment;
• Work closely with product and engineering managers, developers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality products;
• Train and mentor less senior team members in best QA practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Manual testing;
• Experience testing API;
• Expertise in Software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices;
• Demonstrated experience in driving QA direction;
• Collaborative attitude;
• Knowledge of best Agile practices;
• Fluency in the English language.

Bonus Point For:

• Experience in test automation;
• Dynamic, proactive involvement in advancing automation testing;
• ISTQB foundation certificate would be considered a huge advantage but is not mandatory;
• Experience in performance testing.
