Details

Eneco is seeking a Senior .NET Backend Engineer to join a newly forming Customer Success Tech team focused on automating and improving customer service through intelligent tooling, genAI solutions, voicebots and advanced routing. You will work on features such as Agent Assist, smarter forecasting, voicebot technology, intelligent routing and other automation solutions. The platform stack primarily uses .NET Core and Azure, and the team leverages Azure DevOps with CI/CD; other tools in the landscape include Kubernetes and Kafka. You must be based in the Netherlands to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within cross-functional product teams to architect and deliver backend solutions using .NET Core and Azure DevOps.
  • Create tooling and automation to make the workplace for human agents more efficient (automate repetitive work, provide intelligent tooling).
  • Automate handling of incoming customer questions via app/web/phone/email to reduce human-handled queries.
  • Design and implement a central intelligent routing solution that routes customers to the best channel/agent based on variables and indicators.
  • Build a high-quality voicebot integrated with CoPilot Studio for self-service and intelligent routing.
  • Inject innovation into production processes and contribute ideas to improve digital products and backend standards across Eneco.
  • Ensure backend solutions are scalable, high-performance, maintainable and future-proof.
  • Stay updated on .NET, Azure and related technologies and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with .NET and Azure.
  • Experience developing scalable, high-performance applications in Azure.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and CI/CD pipelines (ADO is important as CI/CD is built in this environment).
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Kafka and other cloud-native tooling is beneficial.
  • Desired/bonus experience: Microsoft GenAI tooling (e.g., AI Foundry), CoPilot Studio, CRM systems, Genesys CX Cloud, Dynamics 365, and Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Ability to collaborate with developers, testers and project managers in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication in English.
