Senior Network Security Engineer - DGX Cloud

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to design and implement security best practices for both on-premise and cloud access environments. This role focuses on securing NVIDIA business verticals ranging from Graphics Drivers to Autonomous Vehicles and AI, including Deep Learning frameworks for both internal and external use.

Responsibilities

• Implement, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls in on-premise and cloud network infrastructures
• Conduct security audits, threat modeling, and risk assessments
• Participate in ACL approvals and security reviews
• Document security guidelines for NGC on-premise and Cloud Service Provider deployments
• Enhance security features to improve visibility and network intelligence
• Maintain vulnerability patching and conduct regular bug scrubs with security vendors

Requirements

• Enforce best practices in securing cloud and on-premise environments, including network segmentation, data encryption, and identity access management
• Expert knowledge in Fortinet, FortiManager, Arista, and Cumulus
• Experience with firewall scaling and redundancy (Active/Passive and Active/Active), firewall templating, and policy package deployment
• Expertise in cloud cybersecurity principles, Anti-Bot/Malware/Virus, DLP, IDS/IPS, SSL inspection/decryption, URL Inspection, and Zero Day vulnerabilities
• Experience in host network hardening and Zero Trust Provisioning of network equipment
• Understanding of network virtualization (VRFs, VxLAN) and virtualized firewall deployments in CSP environments
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with adjacent security teams and understand threats across OSI layers
• 5+ years of experience in network security
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Ways To Stand Out

• Expertise in OCI, GCP, AWS, and Azure cybersecurity
• Working knowledge of Mellanox/Cumulus OS
• Experience with Python, Shell scripting, Golang for automation, development of tools, frameworks, and dashboards
• Contributions to open source projects
• Experience designing and securing large-scale networks
• Familiarity with container and microservices technologies

Compensation and Benefits
