NVIDIA networking designs and manufactures high-performance networking equipment that enables the most powerful supercomputers in the largest data centers. With distributed NVIDIA GPUs interconnected by networking solutions such as NVLINK, InfiniBand, Ethernet, or RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet), NVIDIA enables large-scale AI and HPC deployments. This role works closely with customers and R&D teams to support, design, and deploy advanced NVIDIA networking platforms for AI and HPC workloads.
Responsibilities
- Support NVIDIA networking technologies such as InfiniBand and NVLINK in AI clusters.
- Work with customers on technical challenges and requirements during pre-sales and deployment activities.
- Develop proof-of-concept materials for innovative technologies for early adopters.
- Understand customer needs to help design and deploy NVIDIA networking platforms to run AI and HPC workloads.
- Address sophisticated and highly visible customer issues and perform diagnostics.
- Work closely with R&D teams to develop new features for customers.
- Help define product requirements alongside engineering and product marketing teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience with computer software and networking-related software development.
- Knowledge of the Linux kernel and strong experience in Linux environments.
- Solid understanding of Ethernet and IP protocols.
- Familiarity with the InfiniBand specification.
- Experience with distributed processing, High-Performance Computing (HPC), and Message Passing Interface (MPI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and directly with customers (customer-facing, pre-sales, and support activities).
- B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Preferred / Ways to Stand Out
- Coding experience across multiple languages: low-level C and higher-level languages such as Perl, Python, and shell scripting.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and AI workflows.
- Familiarity with AI workloads and GPU-accelerated systems.
- Expertise performing diagnostics on InfiniBand fabric and debugging issues on host, switch, and subnet manager.
- Deep familiarity with Linux networking and kernel-level troubleshooting.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranges by level:
- Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD
- Level 5: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD
