Position overview

As an Observability Architect (OA) you will pioneer a post-sales technical partnership function focused on driving customer observability maturity, adoption, expansion, and ROI. You will own the long-term technical relationship for a portfolio of Grafana customers, act as the primary technical contact, advise on technical roadmaps and best practices, and represent the customer to Product and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of Grafana customers.
  • Design and guide customers through an observability maturity journey.
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting, guidance, and root cause analysis (RCA) to drive adoption and customer success.
  • Conduct regular technical reviews, health checks, and assist in RCA for issues affecting satisfaction and retention.
  • Advise clients on best practices and strategies to meet business goals using Grafana products.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and execute technical roadmaps and identify opportunities to optimize cost and expand product usage.
  • Develop and deliver technical documentation, guides, tutorials, training sessions, and workshops.
  • Work with Engagement Managers and Onboarding Solutions Architects to own the customer lifecycle.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for needs, priorities, and feature requests.
  • Prepare and present reports on client metrics, ROI, achievements, and areas of focus.
  • Travel to meet with clients as needed (up to 25%).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in technical support, technical account management (TAM), consulting, solutions engineering, or professional services within the technology industry.
  • Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of observability solutions; familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with relevant tools and technologies such as CRM software and ticketing systems; familiarity with programming languages is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Must be located in Sweden.

Compensation & Benefits

  • In Sweden, the OTE compensation range for this role is 1,086,000 SEK - 1,304,000 SEK. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset.
