SentinelOne is looking for a technical Partner Sales Engineer to support the growth of our channel, cloud service provider (CSP), and MSP partner business. The Senior Partner Sales Engineer is a critical function to the SentinelOne partner and sales ecosystem, driving adoption and evangelizing our vision. In this position you will work closely with regional counterparts to act as a thought leader, position SentinelOne within various partners, conduct demos, provide technical training & enablement, and show how SentinelOne can add value to partner offerings and ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify partnership opportunities; identify key partner technical objections and competition, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
  • Drive follow-ups with partner resources to consistently deliver messaging on how SentinelOne adds value to partners and their customers.
  • Plan and create go-to-market initiatives and offerings with SentinelOne partners and internal teams to scale the channel and CSP business.
  • Develop and execute technical training plans for partners.
  • Own the technical relationship with SentinelOne’s partners and coordinate additional technical resources as needed.
  • Lead hands-on technical sessions at partner sites for offerings such as Capture the Flag (CTF) and Cloud Security Assessments (CSAs).
  • Deliver demonstrations and work hands-on with partners to demonstrate SentinelOne’s value in the partner’s environment or solutions.
  • Recommend security best practices, cloud architecture, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete cloud security solution based on SentinelOne.
  • Bring feedback from partners to product management to improve the SentinelOne solution.
  • Foster relationships across various partner types and align them with internal SentinelOne sales engineers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in the field, with 3+ years of Sales Engineering experience.
  • Experience working with channel partners, CSPs, MSPs, GSIs, or alliances partners.
  • Experience with cloud computing environments in technical sales, DevOps, security, sales engineering, or similar roles.
  • Experience in and understanding of cloud deployments—especially as they relate to security and compliance.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP (Azure noted as a plus).
  • Familiarity with modern cloud environments such as containerized workloads, serverless computing, and microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with SIEM or other data lake solutions is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, identity security, and endpoint security solutions, including knowledge of complex threats and attack vectors and endpoint protection approaches (malware prevention, XDR/SIEM solutions).
  • Experience presenting and delivering technical demos to architects and technical staff.
  • Ability to quickly learn, adapt, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.

Bonus points (preferred):

  • AWS, GCP and/or security certifications.
  • Terraform or CloudFormation experience.
  • Previous DevOps/DevSecOps experience.
  • CEH, SANS, OSCP, CISSP, or other security qualifications.

Compensation & Legal

This U.S. role has a base pay range plus commissions that will vary based on the location of the candidate. The range posted here is the on-target earnings (OTE) for this position, inclusive of base salary and commissions.
