Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain secure, resilient cloud infrastructure
  • Creation of building blocks (CI/CD, IaC) for use by application teams
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability of solutions
  • Define and maintain basic SLOs and SLIs, contribute to incident analysis to reduce MTTR
  • Ensure full observability of platform and the applications running on it
  • Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
  • Work with third-party partners to ensure a reliable, usable platform
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and product managers
  • Stay current with modern development practices

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in platform engineering or site reliability engineering within digital product organizations
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure), hybrid platforms, networking, and operational best practices
  • Proven experience with Azure DevOps, Kubernetes (primarily OpenShift), Terraform, and GitOps (ArgoCD)
  • Ability to design, align and document platform architecture
  • Basic scripting ability with Python and/or bash
  • Based in the Netherlands and fluent in English

Bonus points for

  • Experience running Mission Critical infrastructure
  • Knowledge of the energy sector
  • Specialism in security and networking in hybrid platforms
