Senior Product Design Manager, Stablecoins & Payments

Join Coinbase to lead the Consumer Stablecoins & Payments Design Team focused on building stablecoins and B2B payments experiences. This role requires a hands-on design leader who can balance crypto-forward perspectives with the needs of web2 users and who will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and UX Research to design end-to-end experiences for business customers. The role is remote-first but requires in-person participation throughout the year for team and company offsites. Coinbase pilots certain AI interview tools for initial screening and transcripts; a human recruiter will review any outputs. Pay Range: $243,865 — $286,900 USD. #LI-Remote

Responsibilities

• Partner strategically with Product, Engineering, and UX Research to drive team strategy, product decisions, and roadmap priorities.
• Own end-to-end user journeys and all aspects of design execution: vision, ideation, prototyping, user testing, and final production.
• Establish and lead the design function for the product area (Stablecoins & Payments).
• Provide mentorship, design feedback, and career development to design team members.
• Partner closely with the Design Systems team to create scalable design frameworks and solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Product Design experience, including fintech and B2B experience.
• Experience managing teams and leading a design function across a product area.
• Mastery of craft: strong visual and interaction design skills, prototyping, and UX best practices.
• Ability to own the end-to-end design process from initial concept to final implementation.
• Proven ability to collaborate and partner strategically with UX Research, Product, and Engineering to influence product decisions and strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; low ego and open-minded.

Nice to have

• Experience with APIs.
• Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or other blockchain-based services.
