This role operates at the hardware–software boundary of advanced accelerated computing systems. The Senior Product Manager will work on NVIDIA Accelerated CPU Products (examples: Grace and Vera) and help orchestrate cross-team work between CPU architecture, system software (CUDA, GPU drivers, Linux), firmware (BIOS, BMC), and third-party hardware partners to deliver a high-quality out-of-box experience across NVIDIA accelerated compute product lines.
Responsibilities
- Drive alignment and enablement between teams responsible for NVIDIA CPUs, CUDA, GPU drivers, Linux kernel and distros, BIOS, BMC, and IBV partners.
- Create and drive enablement plans to support customer and partner adoption of features such as Confidential Compute, MPAM, advanced power management, and virtualization.
- Ensure components, documentation, and recipes are in place for the full accelerated compute product portfolio to deliver excellent out-of-box experiences.
- Partner with HGX and DGX product teams, CPMs, engineers, and customers to understand active issues, communicate status to executives, and drive tactical and roadmap-based closure of gaps.
- Guide component- and system-level quality targets with platform and quality PMs; plan for comprehensive in-system telemetry and debugging in future products.
- Drive the distribution and packaging of workarounds, patches, mitigations, and experimental firmware when needed.
- Manage partnerships and alignment with 3rd parties responsible for memory modules, PCIe add-in cards, and other ecosystem hardware to ensure integration with NVIDIA platforms.
- Handle expectations and internal reporting; act as a buffer between high-priority customer deployments, account teams, product organization, and engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience as a technical product or program manager in a multifaceted, fast-paced, high-tech environment.
- Proven understanding of the datacenter hardware and server ecosystem; familiarity with Arm CPUs is a plus.
- EE/CS familiarity, preferably with a computer architecture background and working knowledge of the Linux kernel and boot process.
- Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills; ability to express sophisticated ideas succinctly and at appropriate audience altitude.
- Motivation and self-starting ability to drive frequent progress across multiple cross-team efforts.
- Analytical thinking: able to build objective measurements of schedules, economic trade-offs, and competitive insights.
- Curiosity, intellectual honesty, and ability to navigate ambiguous problem spaces.
