Senior Product Manager - Consumer Trading (Coinbase Advanced)

At Coinbase you will help build the emerging onchain platform and improve the trading experience for users. This role sits on the Coinbase Advanced Trading team and focuses on ideation, development, and execution of features that improve critical user journeys, enable advanced trading strategies, and drive trading efficiency for high-volume users.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of features to improve critical user journeys for traders across web, mobile (iOS/Android), and API.
• Conceptualize and implement a roadmap that enables derivatives traders to unlock new strategies on web, mobile, and API.
• Define metrics and run experiments to evaluate core user journeys (CUJs) and trading execution; leverage data to continuously optimize product features.
• Own product development from conception to launch, iterating until you create world-class products for leverage and hedging.
• Scale and grow product usage, ensuring users have access to the products when needed.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, data, marketing, and other teams to develop and steer the product roadmap.
• Align teams on a shared vision and steer execution against that vision.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager and/or Founder, including experience working on consumer products.
• Strong expertise in trading and a solid grasp of financial concepts (markets, derivative instruments, trading strategies).
• Experience building 0-to-1 products in high-ambiguity environments and solving problems creatively under constraints.
• Strong design sense and an understanding of how to create delightful user experiences.
• Ability to influence and shape strategic decisions and discussions.
• Experience working with and balancing needs of diverse stakeholders (users, design, UXR) using both qualitative and quantitative data.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated passion for cryptocurrency, financial markets, and Coinbase's mission.

Nice to Haves

• Experience in brokerage, market-making, institutional trading, or derivatives products (options, futures, perpetuals, event contracts).
• Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity (interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, engaging with dApps or other blockchain-based services).

Work Arrangement

• Remote-first role with in-person participation required throughout the year; team and company offsites are held multiple times annually and attendance is expected and supported. (#LI-Remote)

Compensation & Other Notes

• Pay Range (target annual salary): $217,900 — $217,900 USD. Full-time offers also include target bonus, target equity, and benefits (medical, dental, vision).
