As a Senior Product Manager in the Chronos Trading Product Family, you will lead the data processing and infrastructure initiatives that support asset-backed trading. You will help optimise trading across commodities by designing and delivering high-impact data products, platform capabilities and technological solutions for trading activities such as algorithmic trading, market models and other trade initiatives. This is a greenfield opportunity with responsibility for migrating existing processes and building a tech team and product vision.

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision and product strategy for the data and infrastructure components of the Asset Backed Trading domain.
  • Lead the development of data-driven products that support energy transition and meet the needs of asset-backed trading.
  • Act as the key liaison between data engineers, software engineers, traders, market analysts and quantitative analysts.
  • Support asset-backed trading from Tech with appropriate data and technological solutions (e.g., algorithmic trading, market models, trade initiatives).
  • Implement an OKR-driven approach and focus on measurable outcomes to drive strategic goals.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Set the stage for medium- to long-term commodity trading data products and scalable, high-performance data platform products.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in product management; bonus if in trading data and technology domain.
  • Experience supporting trading in futures and derivatives; experience in energy & commodity trading preferred.
  • Proven expertise in developing scalable, high-performance data platform products from scratch.
  • Experience with automated or algorithmic trading.
  • Ability to define and drive product vision and roadmap, aligning with business objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Bonus: experience and knowledge within the energy markets.

Where you’ll work

  • Team: Tech department focused on Trade and Structuring; most stakeholders have trading and quantitative analysis backgrounds.
  • Environment: New team / greenfield environment with responsibility for migrating existing processes and building data products and a tech team around you.
  • Working time: 32 - 40 hours per week.
  • Hybrid working model: work ~40% at the office, ~40% from home, and ~20% flexibly. With manager approval, working abroad (within approved countries) is possible up to 3 weeks/year (max 2 consecutively).
