Senior Product Manager - Platform Payments

The Payments team within the Platform organization is critical to this mission, powering all fiat money moved in and out of Coinbase products. The team enables users to connect safely and easily into the crypto economy through bank-based payment methods.

We seek an entrepreneurial, self-motivated Product Manager who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. This candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity, able to resolve complex challenges, and adept at aligning cross-functional teams to define priorities and launch products.

Responsibilities

• Define and build the Payments roadmap including integrations, new experiences, and platforms serving global users
• Own the full product lifecycle from conception to launch, through usage, and optimization
• Identify and collaborate with banking partners to expand to new regions and unlock new capabilities
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and product teams across Coinbase to develop and steer product roadmap
• Align teams behind a shared vision and drive its execution

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience
• Experience managing software products; payments knowledge preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, relationship management, and organizational skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset for fast-paced environments
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for cryptocurrency, financial markets, and Coinbase's mission

Nice to Haves

• Experience in fintech and/or crypto, including onchain and payments-related exposure
• Familiarity with onchain activity such as Ethereum addresses, ENS, dApps, or blockchain-based services

Compensation

• Salary range: $201,450 to $237,000 USD
• Includes target bonus, target equity, and benefits

Work Environment

• Remote-first but not remote-only; in-person participation throughout the year is required
• Team and company-wide offsites held multiple times annually with expected attendance
