Senior Product Manager, Security

This role sits on Coinbase’s Security Platform Engineering team and focuses on solving hard problems in crypto custody and security to make Coinbase the most trusted crypto platform.

Responsibilities

• Define and build out Coinbase’s security platform strategy that serves the business globally.
• Own security platform products from conception to launch, ensuring desired impacts are achieved.
• Drive solutions for secrets management, risk management, insider threat, account takeover, regulatory compliance, and other custody/security challenges.
• Stay up-to-date with onchain and security technologies and bring innovation into security platforms.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Security, Compliance, Operations, and client teams to gather requirements and develop the product roadmap.
• Define and analyze metrics to guide product development and measure impact.
• Align teams on a shared vision and steer execution to achieve that vision.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience.
• Demonstrated experience in software product management, particularly for platform products.
• Ability to work with a high degree of technical complexity across a broad product portfolio.
• Deep analytical, prioritization and problem-solving skills; experience defining and analyzing product metrics.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated passion for cryptocurrency, financial markets, and Coinbase's mission.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment; aptitude for learning and quickly ramping up in complicated domains.

Nice to Haves

• Previous experience with security, privacy and compliance products.
• Previous experience in the crypto industry.

Working Model

• Coinbase is remote-first but not remote-only; in-person participation is required throughout the year (team and company offsites multiple times annually). Attendance at these events is expected and supported.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: £138,600 — £154,000 GBP (target annual salary). Full-time offers also include target bonus, target equity, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, pension, wellness and learning stipends, employee stock purchase plan, and other listed benefits.
