Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source powerhouse used by more than 20M users worldwide. The company helps organizations manage observability with the Grafana LGTM Stack, available via Grafana Cloud (managed) or the Grafana Enterprise Stack (self-managed), including scalable metrics (Grafana Mimir), logs (Grafana Loki), and traces (Grafana Tempo).
This role is a senior product marketing position focused on creating go-to-market programs, defining messaging and positioning for key personas and product areas, and enabling sales and customer adoption across the product lifecycle. The role requires both strategic planning and hands-on execution (content such as blogs, webinar outlines, video scripts, plus technical assets like reference architectures and implementation guides).
Responsibilities
- Define go-to-market strategy so users, buyers, partners, and sellers understand the value of Grafana Labs and its offerings
- Partner with Product Managers to define product value, messaging, competitive positioning, and go-to-market plans
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and go-to-market teams to produce materials that help customers evaluate and adopt products (reference architectures, implementation guides, detailed product information)
- Own and manage launches of new products/features targeted at buyers
- Conduct internal and customer research to understand pain points, competition, and opportunities
- Enable go-to-market and sales teams through training, enablement collateral, and by ensuring customer-facing teams can effectively engage with customers, partners, and prospects
- Own customer lifecycle campaigns (competitive positioning, retention, upsell/cross-sell) to shape marketing programs and drive growth across the customer journey
- Produce tactical content (blogs, webinar outlines, video scripts) and support sales enablement activities
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience (product marketing, solutions marketing, product management)
- Experience marketing and selling to a technical audience
- A passion for open source, cloud native, and infrastructure technologies
- Proven ability to take on complex projects and drive them from start to finish
- Ability to clearly articulate the value of technical products to customers and sellers
- Experience leading product or feature launches both autonomously and as part of a team
- Comfortable working with various internal and external stakeholders in complicated processes
- Strong product and technical curiosity that translates to clear packaging, positioning, and messaging
- Demonstrated quantitative analytical skills for measuring campaign performance and making data-driven recommendations
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- High execution reliability (high "say-do" ratio)
Compensation & Benefits
- Sweden base compensation range: 836,700 SEK - 1,004,000 SEK (actual compensation may vary by level, experience, and skillset)
- All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
