Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company serving more than 20M users worldwide with observability tooling (Grafana, Grafana Cloud, Grafana Enterprise, Grafana Mimir, Grafana Loki, Grafana Tempo). The Senior Product Marketing Manager will create Go-To-Market programs and own messaging and positioning across key personas and product areas, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to help buyers evaluate, adopt, and realize value from Grafana Labs products.
Responsibilities
- Define go-to-market strategy to ensure users, buyers, partners, and sellers understand the value of Grafana Labs and its offerings.
- Partner with Product Managers to define product value, messaging, competitive positioning, and sales enablement collateral.
- Create materials to help customers evaluate and adopt products: reference architectures, implementation guides, detailed product information.
- Own and manage launches of new products/features relevant to target buyers.
- Conduct internal and customer research to understand pain points, competition, and opportunities.
- Enable GTM and sales teams: deliver training and enablement, ensure customer-facing teams can effectively engage customers, partners, and prospects.
- Own customer lifecycle campaigns (competitive positioning, retention, upsell/cross-sell) to shape marketing programs and drive growth across the customer journey.
- Produce tactical deliverables as needed (blogs, webinar outlines, video scripts, etc.).
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience (product marketing, solutions marketing, product management).
- Experience marketing and selling to a technical audience.
- A passion for open source, cloud-native, and infrastructure technologies.
- Proven ability to drive complex projects from start to finish and lead product/feature launches.
- Ability to articulate the value of technical products to customers and sellers.
- Comfort working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders in complex processes.
- Strong product and technical curiosity translating to clear packaging, positioning, and messaging.
- Demonstrated quantitative analytical skills for analyzing campaign performance and lifecycle metrics to make data-driven recommendations.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills and a high “say-do” ratio in execution.
Compensation & Benefits
- In the UK, the base compensation range for this role is £100,000 - £121,116. Actual compensation may vary by level, experience, and skillset. All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
