ING Australia is on an exciting journey to reimagine how Finance delivers value, and we’re looking for an innovative Senior Product Owner to drive the change. In this high-impact role, you’ll shape and deliver transformative finance solutions that empower smarter decision-making, ensure regulatory and statutory compliance, and unlock new efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and evolve the integrated Finance Transformation Change delivery roadmap, aligning process, tactical, and strategic initiatives with ING’s LEAP strategy and enterprise priorities.
  • Lead the execution of end-to-end delivery of finance change initiatives, including requirements, production deployment, and release coordination in coordination with Finance, Risk, Tech, and Data teams.
  • Execute the Finance Transformation change delivery strategy, aligning process, tactical, and strategic initiatives with ING’s LEAP strategy and enterprise priorities.
  • Support and oversee requirement setting and business analysis and the priorities thereof, translating strategic goals into actionable features and measurable outcomes.
  • Coach teams and stakeholders to adopt new ways of working, driving a culture of continuous improvements while embedding transformation outcomes.
  • Oversee and support business risk documentation, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
  • In conjunction with Technology, ensure that Finance assets and products have well-defined lifecycle management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role with a strong focus on Finance Transformation within the banking industry.
  • High level of product and project management and delivery experience.
  • Sound understanding of Finance processes and IT delivery.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and management skills.
  • Previous experience coaching and mentoring team members and cross-functional stakeholders is highly regarded.
