This role sits on the Engineering leadership team and focuses on empowering engineering teams by driving operational clarity, improving onboarding, creating scalable systems, and providing executive support to the VPE. The Program Manager will drive initiatives and processes to enhance department efficiency, developer experience, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Act as a key adviser to the VPE on all aspects of the Engineering mission.
- Manage and evolve onboarding as a continuous learning system that captures and codifies the knowledge, tools, and practices for new engineers to integrate quickly into teams, culture, and workflows.
- Partner with engineering leaders to create clear, measurable roadmap initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct engineering surveys and gather feedback to monitor and improve the developer experience.
- Organize and facilitate department meetings, hackathons, demo days, knowledge-sharing programs, and change management initiatives.
- Create and maintain reporting frameworks that translate complex data into actionable business and operational insights.
- Develop strategies to strengthen cross-functional representation through partnership and collaboration.
- Participate in the recruitment process by interviewing leadership candidates and providing structured feedback.
- Maintain and improve the departmental wiki as a central source of truth to streamline decentralized learning and information accessibility.
- Operationalize and scale a culture of knowledge sharing by designing documentation practices and learning systems that improve information flow and decision capture.
Requirements
- Located in North or South American time zones to align with team operations.
- 5+ years of experience as a Program Manager, Chief of Staff, or Senior Executive Assistant in a fast-paced, growth-oriented SaaS company.
- Familiarity with engineering processes sufficient to engage and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of ownership and operational improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with large presentations, internal communications, continuous reporting, and facilitating efficient meetings.
- Proactive understanding of leadership support needs and a passion for creating a productive and enjoyable work environment.
- Strategic thinker who can navigate complex problems, adapt, and drive results in a dynamic environment.

Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary: $125,000 USD (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment.
