The Chief Business Officer organization plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and expansion efforts worldwide. Our teammates work on commercializing Airbnb’s new and existing businesses, helping Airbnb expand beyond its core offering as a place to stay. This includes recruiting and developing Airbnb’s global supply of high-quality stays, Experiences, and Services, and executing Airbnb’s global strategy in the market. With a focus on business strategy, quality supply and international expansion, the team is leading the way for Airbnb’s continued growth and success in its next chapter.
The Business team, which sits within this organization, provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level business priorities with strong day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Leverage analytical skills to translate data-driven insights into actionable operational plans enhancing stays business performance and build efficiency into systems.
- Contribute to complex and time-critical projects for leaders by quickly understanding context and developing prioritized approaches.
- Execute sophisticated quantitative analyses and advanced modeling translating data into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, finance, marketing, sales operations, and supply to achieve shared objectives delivering meaningful business results.
- Contribute to executive communications by preparing polished presentations and identifying key takeaways.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years experience in Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Strategy, or equivalent experience in a technology/media company.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis and deliver insights to the broader team.
- Familiarity with database query, statistical analysis, and/or SQL coding.
- Outstanding spreadsheet modeling and presentation production skills.
- Effective problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Data-driven, can-do attitude, strategic thinker, and passion for new products and solutions.
- Capable of self-learning and developing tools to enhance processes, interpret business risks, and recommend best practices.

Location
- US - Remote Eligible; must live in a state with registered Airbnb entity. Occasional office/offsite work may be required.
