We are seeking an exceptional Senior Revenue Data Analyst to join our Sales Finance Analytics team. As an integral member of the FP&A organization, you will deliver high-quality financial and business analysis that enables effective decision-making and improves financial performance. This role requires strong product knowledge, advanced analytics tools, attention to detail, and the ability to execute to company timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to developing a single source-of-truth data repository for revenue analytics to be used across the company, driving consistency and accuracy in reporting and decision-making across all business lines.
- Design and create comprehensive reports and dashboards for end-to-end analytics of company processes, enabling data-driven insights and performance tracking.
- Act as a data translator: guide users to understand and use the single source of truth while building strong partnerships across Sales and Finance departments.
- Analyze large datasets across multiple platforms and systems; synthesize data to draw conclusions, provide business insights, and tell a story through data.
- Design and implement advanced data processing solutions in Python to identify and analyze customer and product sales behaviors for comprehensive analytics.
- Maintain data models to handle disparate data sources; manage manual processes with a focus on continuous improvement and contribution to the single source-of-truth data repository.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of data governance policies and procedures, ensuring data integrity, quality, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find opportunities for process optimization, build consensus, automate workflows, and reduce costs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data modeling, reporting, and analysis working closely with business partners.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (data modeling skills in SQL are essential).
- Proficiency with Excel, Python, and a visualization tool (Tableau or Power BI).
- Experience designing and maintaining data models and building dashboards/reports for stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Economics. MBA is a plus.
- Product-first thinking and demonstrated success driving data-driven business growth and process improvements.
- Experience presenting findings from data analyses to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrable ability to design and implement change management plans that influence business decisions and outcomes.
- Highly motivated, able to work independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment while managing multiple priorities.
Ways to stand out
- Experience in Power BI semantic modeling and Tabular Editor.
- Knowledge or experience with Salesforce, SAP (SD, COPA, RAR, BW, BPC, IBP), or Anaplan.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranges by level:
- Level 3: 100,000 USD - 161,000 USD
- Level 4: 124,000 USD - 195,500 USD
- You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
