Details

We are building the next generation of compiler technologies to accelerate deep learning workloads. You will work on compiler verification and related infrastructure to develop, test, and release compilers for machine learning applications, focusing on functional and performance benchmarking, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based testing. You will collaborate with deep learning compiler developers and GPU/systems software engineers to evaluate AI model and system performance, identify weaknesses, and drive quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines to deploy and monitor machine learning software workloads.
  • Develop functional and performance benchmarking solutions to verify deep learning compilers.
  • Implement and utilize algorithms and solutions for meticulous testing, experimentation, and benchmarking of AI models and systems.
  • Evaluate performance of AI models/systems and produce performance and regression reports.
  • Identify gaps in current processes, propose actions to improve code coverage and quality, and participate in quality initiatives.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of overall professional experience, with 2+ years of MLOps experience in deep learning software environments.
  • Knowledge of the machine learning domain and professional experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorRT, JAX, PyTorch, NeMo, TensorFlow, or others.
  • Ability to architect, design, implement, and debug complex solutions using Python in the machine learning domain.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline development, cloud-based testing (AWS/GCP), data storage and database solutions, visualization dashboards, and data analysis for performance and regression reporting.
  • Ability to learn and adapt swiftly to changes in technical and project requirements.

Ways to Stand Out

  • Experience programmatically using deep learning solutions such as large language models to solve technical problems.
  • Prior experience providing technical leadership in deep learning software development environments.
  • Knowledge of compiler internals and experience with compiler implementation using LLVM infrastructure.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range (varies by level and location):
    • Level 3: 136,000 USD - 212,750 USD
    • Level 4: 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD
  • Eligible for equity and benefits.

Additional Information

  • Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States.
  • Applications accepted at least until July 29, 2025.
