NVIDIA DGX Cloud is the AI supercomputing-as-a-service substrate designed to power the next generation of AI and industrial-scale breakthroughs. As a Security Engineer within the Infrastructure Security Engineering organization, you will architect and build foundational security primitives that protect massive-scale GPU clusters. You will design automated, resilient security systems that help ensure the integrity of omni-cloud and on-premise AI infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and integrate production-grade security services and transform third-party and open-source tools into API-driven components of the DGX Cloud security stack.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code to automate security enforcement and compliance at cloud scale.
- Architect and implement the security control plane, including automated guardrails, controllers, and runtime security policies to validate and enforce tenant boundaries.
- Design and operate security services as a scalable platform (Security-as-a-Service), building self-service primitives such as Identity-as-a-Service, automated secrets management, and real-time scanning APIs.
- Develop internal security frameworks and automated response systems; own the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for security tools including testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Conduct deep-dive threat modeling on complex distributed systems and the DGX Cloud stack, identify architectural security gaps and engineer solutions.
- Partner with DGX Cloud platform teams, broader NVIDIA security teams, and product engineering to embed security into CI/CD and the hardware lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in SRE, Software Engineering, and Infrastructure Security, focusing on building systemic solutions rather than manual operations or tool administration.
- Strong software engineering background with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested production-grade code and services at scale.
- Understanding of cloud-native architecture, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and security challenges in high-throughput, low-latency environments.
- Experience platformizing security by delivering infrastructure security controls as API-first internal services that integrate with engineering workflows.
- Proven track record integrating complex security products (AuthN/AuthZ, vaulting, scanning, IDS) into automated infrastructure via APIs and custom glue code.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems security, including kernel-level primitives such as eBPF, AppArmor, or SELinux.
Ways To Stand Out
- Experience securing high-performance computing (HPC) environments, RDMA-based networks, or GPU-specific security challenges.
- Expertise in workload identity frameworks (e.g., SPIFFE/SPIRE) and hardware root-of-trust integration (TPM/HSM).
- Notable contributions to security-focused open-source projects or a track record of engineering-focused security research.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range:
- Level 3: 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD
- Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD
- Eligible for equity and NVIDIA benefits (see NVIDIA benefits page).
Additional Information
- Applications accepted at least until December 26, 2025.
- NVIDIA is an equal opportunity employer and committed to diversity in hiring and promotion practices.
