NVIDIA is a world leader in computer graphics, artificial intelligence, and accelerated computing. For over 25 years, NVIDIA has been at the forefront of research and engineering around the greatest advances in technology. This role is for a senior software engineer to develop and deploy Metropolis Visual Intelligence Agents and Agentic AI Blueprints, working with GPU-accelerated computing solutions for machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy Metropolis Agentic blueprints using NVIDIA Cosmos VLM NIMs and Video Foundation NIMs for domains such as smart cities, warehouses, and public safety.
- Deploy, scale, benchmark, and optimize accelerated agentic blueprints in cloud-native environments (edge and cloud).
- Develop and deploy high-quality, highly distributed cloud-based RESTful microservices.
- Collaborate with peer engineering, technical program management, and product management teams; brainstorm and improve designs across the organization.
- Focus on building scalable and performant inference applications and optimizing inference workloads on GPU-accelerated platforms.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Significant software and cloud development and deployment experience.
- Background in developing AI applications with vision models.
- Hands-on development and deployment experience with distributed cloud-based RESTful microservices.
- Strong background in software design and implementation.
- Passion for building scalable and performant inference applications and extending technical knowledge into new areas.
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (BS or MS) or equivalent experience.
Ways to stand out (Preferred)
- MS or PhD in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field.
- Experience building end-to-end AI inference services and deploying them into production.
- Background with cloud-native technologies such as containers and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience building accelerated AI applications using generative AI and vision models.
- Experience in building agentic applications.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD (determined based on location, experience, and internal pay comparisons).
