About the team

The team accelerates AI automation across the Blockchain Platform. They've built NodeSmith and other agent systems and collaborate with teams across the Blockchain Platform to launch production‑grade agents and integrate AI tools into engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build core services and SDKs for long‑running, production‑grade agent systems.
• Drive projects that help engineering teams get the most out of AI coding and agent tools (examples: Cursor, Claude Code).
• Directly ship agents with Blockchain Platform teams and contribute reusable AI building blocks to a central AI Platform.
• Build new services using Python and Golang to meet critical product and business needs.
• Design scalable systems using modern cloud technology and industry best practices.
• Articulate long‑term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems and the teams operating them.
• Work cross‑functionally with engineers, designers, product managers and senior leadership to turn product and technical vision into roadmaps.
• Write high quality, well‑tested code and reduce operational toil through intelligent automation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience designing, building, scaling and maintaining production services and composing service oriented architectures.
• Comfortable writing high quality, well‑tested code to meet customer needs.
• Passion for crypto, blockchain technology, and building an open financial system.

Nice to haves

• Interest and/or experience building and scaling agent systems and agent frameworks/concepts.
• Daily use of AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot.
• Exposure to LangGraph, GoogleADK, MCPs, or similar AI/agent toolchains.
• Experience with blockchain technologies (Bitcoin, Ethereum) and on‑chain activity (interacting with addresses, ENS, dApps).
• Experience with Golang, Python, Docker, Postgres, MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Experience growing through rapid company growth phases (startup → mid‑size).

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $186,065 — $218,900 USD (target annual salary; full time offers may also include bonus eligibility, equity eligibility, and benefits).
