Responsibilities

• Build new services to meet critical product and business needs using Golang.
• Design scalable systems to solve novel problems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices.
• Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems and respective teams.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn product and technical vision into quarterly roadmaps.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code meeting customer needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services and service-oriented architecture.
• Commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code.
• Passion for building an open financial system.

Nice to Haves

• Experience during rapid company growth (startup to mid-size).
• Experience with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks.
• Experience with Blockchain technologies like Bitcoin, Ethereum.
• Experience decomposing large monoliths into microservices.
• Familiarity with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
• Experience with financial, high reliability, or security systems.
• Crypto-forward experience involving onchain activity such as Ethereum addresses, ENS, and dApps.
