Responsibilities

• End to end ownership of engineering for the new Coinbase for Business product
• Backend systems design and architecture for new product offering
• Writing code and building prototypes for MVP and future vision concepts including international payments, payroll, invoices, etc.
• Collaborate across Coinbase teams to launch supporting features like onboarding, multi-user, payment rails, tax, settings, commerce integrations
• Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience working on fintech teams building financial and payments systems
• Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services
• Knowledge of service oriented architecture
• Passionate about building an open financial system

Nice to Haves

• Experience with golang, ruby, docker, sinatra, rails, postgres, mongodb, or redshift
• Crypto-forward experience including onchain activity (Ethereum addresses, ENS, dApps, blockchain services)
• Experience in rapid growth phases from startup to mid-size company
