Responsibilities

  • Build new services using Golang to meet critical product and business needs.
  • Design scalable systems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices.
  • Develop a long-term vision for backend systems and team management.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and leadership to create product and technical roadmaps.
  • Write high quality, well tested code to serve customers.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services and service-oriented architectures.
  • Passion for building an open financial system globally.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with company growth phases (startup to mid-size).
  • Familiarity with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks.
  • Blockchain technology experience (Bitcoin, Ethereum).
  • Experience decomposing monoliths into microservices.
  • Skills in Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
  • Experience building financial, high reliability, or security systems.
  • Crypto-forward experience with onchain activity, Ethereum, ENS, dApps or blockchain services.
