Senior Software Engineer, Blockchain Platform (Staking Validators)

The Staking Validators team operates the largest validators fleet in the world, focusing on onboarding, operating, and optimizing proof-of-stake network infrastructure. They build infrastructure to ensure secure and high uptime, prioritizing observability and monitoring. Innovation aims to optimize operations for the best yield while offering a best-in-class staking experience internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Operate and lead projects end-to-end related to Ethereum validator infrastructure, including supporting major Ethereum releases and hardforks.
• Deliver high-quality product launches using proven technologies.
• Collaborate with Product teams on technical roadmaps.
• Support devops and infrastructure practices to enhance operation efficiency.
• Drive uptime, security, and yield improvements for the protocol.
• Engage with internal specialists and external developer communities to stay updated on Ethereum network changes.
• Participate in on-call rotations for supported protocols, with a focus on Ethereum.
• Mentor and onboard junior engineers.

Requirements

• Expertise in blockchain technology, particularly Ethereum and staking validators.
• Experience in managing and optimizing highly performant blockchain node infrastructure.
• Ability to handle unique engineering challenges related to operating large-scale validator fleets.
• Passion for crypto innovation and engagement with the cryptocurrency community.
