Details

We are looking for a skilled open source software developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining NVIDIA Models and Inference API integrations into open-source inference libraries and frameworks. The role focuses on enabling Day-0 NVIDIA model support by working closely with multiple upstream projects and communities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of NVIDIA Inference connectors and toolkit integrations in upstream OSS libraries and frameworks.
  • Maintain NVIDIA Inference API integrations into upstream open-source libraries and frameworks.
  • Design and develop test harnesses to maintain high-quality integrations.
  • Evangelize the NVIDIA Inference API and NVIDIA Inference connectors and integrations to upstream projects and communities.
  • Learn and develop a strong understanding of NVIDIA Inference microservices and release cadence to enable Day-0 support for NVIDIA models in upstream projects.
  • Partner closely with NVIDIA Inference microservices and release teams to design and enable inference API integrations into upstream projects.
  • Work with product teams to discover and learn new upstream projects and enable integrations.
  • Mentor junior engineers and review contributions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in software design, development, and test.
  • Experience in open source development and releases.
  • Experience working with upstream open source projects and communities.
  • A good understanding of AI application developer workflows, inference frameworks, services, and APIs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork and social skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Action-driven with strong analytical skills.
  • Desire to be involved in multiple diverse projects.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range (Level 4): 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD.
  • Base salary range (Level 5): 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD.
