As a Senior Software Engineer - Data Center System Bringup you will lead software and firmware debug and bringup efforts for server systems like HGX, DGX and MGX, working closely with CSP partners and major customers to stabilize and integrate server products in large-scale data centers.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead debug, bringup, and triage of bugs during the CSP's server system bringup.
- Collaborate closely with matrix teams to work on firmware and software across the entire stack.
- Work directly with major customers to solve complex technical issues.
- Refine and stabilize solutions to ensure flawless integration of server products in large-scale data centers and to improve performance and reliability of data center systems.
- Work closely with product experience and documentation teams to ensure true customer delight.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience in system bringup, debugging, and handling complex hardware and software issues in system software or firmware areas.
- Outstanding skills in firmware and software development with a deep understanding of end-to-end stack and server system architecture.
- Expertise in Out-of-Band and In-band management architectures.
- Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a diverse team of engineers.
- A track record of delivering high-quality, innovative solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ways to stand out
- Strong background in device management protocols such as Redfish, IPMI, PLDM.
- In-depth understanding of PCIe, memory management, or networking stack.
Benefits and Compensation
- Base salary ranges provided: $184,000 - $287,500 (Level 4) and $224,000 - $356,500 (Level 5). Actual base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions.
- You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
