NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build a worldwide network of fast, efficient, and reliable data transfer systems to enable self-service data movement to GPU clusters globally. This role contributes to a foundational service critical to the usability of NVIDIA AI products.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, deploy, and maintain software solutions for data ingestion, movement, and management.
- Solve technical problems spanning orchestration, service modeling, API development, monitoring, and automation.
- Build highly reliable distributed systems for customers to depend on in production.
- Own product delivery from inception through support.
Requirements
- Strong track record delivering distributed services across distributed computing environments, including CSPs such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, object storage, network file transfer protocols, and file systems.
- Proficiency in Golang, Python, or both.
- Experience with designing and operating services including API development, orchestration, monitoring, and automation.
Ways to stand out
- Experience implementing file transfer or synchronization protocols or tooling in the object storage ecosystem.
- Previous work designing complex systems using containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Experience building high-scale distributed systems such as distributed databases, storage systems, or cloud services.
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary ranges (determined by location, experience, and comparable internal roles):
- Level 3: 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD
- Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD
