The NVIDIA GPU Cloud (NGC) Data Services team builds cloud-native services and tools for managing data for accelerated computing on hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures. They focus on next-generation data and storage infrastructure to solve challenging AI data issues such as efficient petabyte-scale storage, data security and governance, data ingestion from external sources, and accelerating data access to avoid stalls in AI training and inference workloads.
Responsibilities
- Design and build cloud services to manage, serve, and secure data for accelerated computing initiatives.
- Collaborate with NVIDIA technical leaders to leverage existing technologies and coordinate system integration.
- Work with the NVIDIA research team to incorporate storage and compute innovations like GPU direct storage and DPU.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Over 5 years of proven experience.
- Experience building robust, scalable, high volume / low latency data platform services.
- Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and their real-world applications.
- Experience in developing distributed systems, databases, or stream processing systems.
- Skilled in building and operating microservices with Kubernetes and cloud service provider technologies.
- Programming proficiency in languages such as Go, Python, C/C++, and Java.
- Strong software engineering, architecture, and design skills with ability to document and decompose projects.
- Effective communication skills for design, status updates, and complex technical topics.
Ways to stand out
- Hands-on experience managing large-scale data platform services.
- Experience with enterprise-grade data analytics platforms including Apache Spark, Object Storage, Metadata Management, Data lake tools (Apache Iceberg), and ML infrastructure toolsets like Feature Stores.
- Specialization in distributed systems from a computer science background.
