Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Consumer - New Product Vertical)

Responsibilities

• End to end ownership of engineering for the new Coinbase for Business product
• Backend systems design and architecture for the new product
• Writing code and building prototypes for MVP and future concepts including international payments, payroll, invoices, etc.
• Collaborate across Coinbase teams for features such as onboarding, multi-user, payment rails, tax, commerce integrations
• Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in software engineering
• At least 4 years developing web apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and modern component-based frameworks like React
• Experience developing and shipping user-facing features using component-based UI frameworks
• Knowledge of front-end architecture best practices including performance, security, and usability
• Familiarity with product and design lifecycles and collaboration with designers, engineers, and product managers
• Commitment to writing high-quality, well tested code

Nice to Haves

• Experience on front-end teams in fintech
• At least 1 year developing React Native mobile apps or migrating native apps to React Native
• Crypto-forward experience including Ethereum addresses, ENS, interacting with dApps or blockchain-based services

Compensation

The target annual salary range for this position is $186,095 to $218,900 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits depending on location.
