Airbnb's CRM Engineering team builds world-class tools that drive growth and foster meaningful relationships between Airbnb and its community. The Growth Platform team is building an AI-driven growth platform to serve as a growth engine for Airbnb's supply expansion—providing sales insights, meeting diverse supply needs, helping hosts succeed, and building lead funnels to attract high-quality hosts.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering teams to execute on product and business strategy.
- Drive, lead, and contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
- Review code and design docs, give feedback on product specs and mocks.
- Provide input on team roadmap and technical direction. Deliver flexible, efficient, and scalable solutions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of full stack software development experience, with a Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree (preferably in Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language (preferably Java, Kotlin, Scala, Ruby on Rails, or Python).
- Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React, Preact, Angular, Next.js, Vue, or Meteor.
- Passion for delivering products end-to-end: ideation, planning/scoping, implementation, and experimental A/B testing.
- Exposure to architectural patterns for large, high-scale web applications (well-designed APIs, high-volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms).
- Strong interest in UX and building user-centered products; ability to collaborate with design and product partners and iterate on tradeoffs.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented.
- Experience or interest in AI-driven initiatives to improve growth/supply funnels is relevant to the role.
Location & Work Model
- This position is US - Remote Eligible. Occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites may be required as agreed with your manager. Candidates must live in a U.S. state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity (some states are excluded).
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay range: $191,000 — $223,000 USD. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
