NVIDIA is seeking top engineers to help shape the future of XR — from glasses to Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Spatial Computing. The role focuses on applying AI and systems knowledge, working across AI, robotics, media streaming, networking, and graphics to invent the next medium of computing.
Responsibilities
- Apply AI, graphics, networking and computer vision techniques to improve glasses, AR, VR and Spatial Computing systems.
- Engage in cross-platform development primarily in C++ and Python.
- Create innovative designs and algorithms to power new AI and robotics systems.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to scale NVIDIA's XR efforts and ship production-quality solutions.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in a similar or related role.
- Significant experience in C++.
- Practical experience solving real-world problems with at least one of: AI, robotics, real-time rendering, media streaming, or networking.
- Extensive experience working in large-scale code bases/projects.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills; excellent communicator and team player.
Ways to stand out
- Experience with XR development (augmented reality, virtual reality, or spatial computing) in any form factor: glasses, headsets or smartphones.
- Experience with game engines such as Unreal and Unity.
- Background in GPU, framerate and latency optimization.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary ranges (determined by location, experience, and internal pay parity):
- Level 4: 168,000 USD - 264,500 USD
- Level 5: 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD
- Eligible for equity and company benefits (see NVIDIA benefits).
