The company’s data center platform and node designs (from single-node HGX/DGX systems to multi-node NVLink domain rack architectures) combine NVIDIA GPUs, NVLink, InfiniBand networking, NVIDIA Grace CPUs, and an optimized AI/HPC software stack. This role is a technical management position focused on driving performance excellence across NVIDIA’s data center platforms and software ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team focused on performance for data center platforms and products across the lifecycle: pathfinding, pre-silicon readiness, verification, post-silicon, and production.
  • Define processes and execution methodologies to deliver on performance goals.
  • Work directly with major customers to understand performance requirements, limitations, and align customer roadmaps with NVIDIA’s roadmap.
  • Deliver benchmarking and telemetry infrastructure required to influence design choices.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Software, Platform, and HPC teams on product positioning, competitive analysis, and go-to-market strategy for data center products.
  • Deliver executive-level briefings on performance and perf/W, internally and to key customers/partners.
  • Mentor architects and engineering teams to develop future leaders.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in system architecture and design.
  • 5+ years of people-management experience.
  • Hands-on technical experience and demonstrated excellence working with complex software and hardware designs.
  • Background in data center/server workloads and performance analysis.
  • Familiarity with SoC system architecture and microprocessor/microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, memory controllers, DMA, etc.).
  • Comfortable operating in highly matrixed organizations in a leadership role.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Preferred / Ways to stand out

  • Experience in data center scale performance and efficiency (perf/W).
  • History of working with high-profile customers (e.g., CSPs, HPC customers).
  • Familiarity with benchmarks and workloads commonly assessed by cloud service providers and HPC customers.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary ranges (determined by location, experience, and comparables):
    • Level 4: 272,000 USD - 425,500 USD per year
    • Level 5: 308,000 USD - 471,500 USD per year
  • Eligible for equity and benefits.
