NVIDIA is looking for a highly motivated technical manager to drive performance excellence across its data center platforms. The role leads a team responsible for data center platform architecture and software ecosystem to ensure products ship with industry-leading performance, efficiency, and quality while reducing time to market.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team focused on performance across data center platforms and products, from pathfinding and pre-silicon readiness through verification, post-silicon and production.
  • Define processes and execution methodologies to deliver on performance goals.
  • Engage directly with major customers to understand performance requirements and align customer roadmaps with NVIDIA's roadmap.
  • Deliver benchmarking and telemetry infrastructure to influence design choices and quantify impact on key AI and data center workloads.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Software, Platform and HPC teams on product positioning, competitive analysis and go-to-market strategy for data center products.
  • Deliver executive-level briefings on performance and performance-per-watt internally and to customers/partners.
  • Mentor architects and engineering teams to develop future leaders.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related degree — or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in system architecture and design.
  • 5+ years of management experience.
  • Hands-on technical experience in environments with complex software and hardware designs.
  • Background in data center/server/AI workloads and performance analysis.
  • Familiarity with SoC system architecture and microprocessor/microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, memory controllers, DMA).
  • Comfortable operating in highly matrixed organizations while holding a leadership position.
  • Strong interactive, verbal and written communication skills.

Ways to stand out

  • Experience with data center-scale performance and efficiency (perf/W) and collaborating with high-profile customers.
  • Familiarity with AI inference/training workloads and benchmarks commonly assessed by cloud service providers and HPC customers.
  • Leadership experience bringing new silicon products to market in both pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.

Benefits

  • Base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions.
  • Base salary ranges provided: Level 4 — 272,000 USD to 425,500 USD; Level 5 — 308,000 USD to 471,500 USD.
  • Eligible for equity and benefits.
